This is to the north of the airport, its an old Warsaw Pact Bomber base & is absloutley massive. The Lithuanians still use a small part of the airfield & the runway but the old areas outside the new perimeter fence are perfect for wild camping, the locals use it for driving lessons. To get there from the town head out to the airport, just before you get to the fence turn left & head North, keep the fence on your right & follow the dirt road around for a few kilometres, pick a place where a Soviet Bomber used to live - enjoy.
