The Neutrino Endurance is the benchmark down jacket for modern mountaineering and lightweight ascents. The Pertex Endurance outer provides protection against storm and spindrift while retaining minimal weight and packsize, and high lofting is provided by the 225g of pure white goose down.

A number of us at CamperStar have variations of the RAB down series, but perhaps our favourite is the Neutrino Endurance. It is lightweight and packs down quite small and that is why it is so useful on any sort of trip. It is required kit on all of our trips!
It is uber warm and I used it ski mountaineering in the Canadian Rockies this winter when daytime conditions were -36 deg celcius!!!! without windchill. The jacket kept me nice and warm throughout.
We have friends in the British Army who say it is a very popular jacket because of its performance in cold weather, be that on exercise in the Brecon Beacons or winter in Afghanistan.
You will particularly like the hood, which even when down, keeps the back of your neck very warm and stops cold wind getting in.
The only down sides are the price and I have found the lining in the pockets sometimes gets trapped in the zips which has caused the pocket linings to rip.
